Hi,

Just a hypothetical question for now - if a customer installs say 8 panels and gets the 43p FIT, then next year they add another panel or 2 (lets assume they use the same inverter as it has some spare capacity), what would happen to their FIT?

I can see 3 options:

FIT paid at higher rate
FIT proportioned - would this require 2nd inverter / meter or would they be clever enough to do this on a percentage basis
FIT paid at lower rate

What are your thoughts!
 
Assuming the change lead to an increase of TIC then the generation would be pro-rated between the two applicable rates.
