Hi how would you guys fill in chase? Would you also juse joint tape if on finished wall?

I normally explain to the customer I'm not a plasterer and painter/decorator first so they aren't disappointed when I haven't made it spot perfect and painted or wallpapered it for them! Usually get the boy to fill it up with bonding and I'll finish with multi-coat/finishing plaster if needs be, thankfully a fair bit of my work is usually kitchens/bathrooms or renovations so I normally fill with bonding and leave it for the builder/tiler/plasterer/decorator/somebody else to do.

Most work we do is in comercial so no chasing involved.

The domestic ive done has only needed bonding a couple times because normally its boarded over

i usually tell clients that its up to them to repair any chaises. but if they want me to do it i get one of the plasters i know to do it. they have all the necessary already and it is a better job that i would do.
