Hi, I am just filling an EIC and I have no difficulty filling in the details for the “Final Circuits” but how do I fill in the details of “Distribution Circuit”?

The circuit in question is for the garage; the SWA cable from main DB terminates on to a mini DB in the garage and the garage has 2 x single sockets on radials and a light circuit.

I can enter R[SUB]1[/SUB]+R[SUB]2[/SUB] of the SWA cable up to the point where it terminates into the DB at the garage. How do I then enter testing results of the circuits in the garage on the EIC? Thanks

You fill out the EIC as normal. If you have installed the SWA and the Garage CU then on your SOTR you fill out addess and location of the DB......which will be garage.

Then you need to fill out the Ze, type of supply, PFC etc from the origin of the installation ie the house CU.

Then on the first line where it says description of circuit you put Distribution circuit and all your test results from the SWA.

Then leave a few lines gap and do your final circuits that are inside your garage.

I have done a CU change for my assessment and I have to fill in all circuits’ details on the EIC. Does this mean I have to fill in three rows after the distribution circuit row with test readings of two radials and a light circuit? Cheers!

Edited: R[SUB]1[/SUB]+R[SUB]2[/SUB] of the radials in the garage added to the Ze at the source will be Zs for that ciruit, but this R[SUB]1[/SUB]+R[SUB]2[/SUB] is only up to the mini DB at the garage. How does that give us the true picture of Zs as we haven’t including the connection from the Main DB to the Garage DB?
