Fire alarm call points

Commercial building- is there a regulation that states a minimum distance of mounting a fire alarm call point from other objects?

From other objects, i don't think matters. Call points should be 1.4 meters +/-0.2m above the floor, and i think, you have to have them spaced no more than 45m apart. As far as i know, thats about it, but im not a fire engineer, i know quite a lot about fire alarms, but you would be best to check with an engineer or the likes,

Rule of Thumb. 1.4m maximum (DDA) installed on every exit route out of building, one call point to another no more than 45m travelling distance from one to another.
I would be consulting the fire risk assessment which has to have been conducted prior to any building works being started...
