Thats a strange one.....on a conventional it would show the zone number in fault. Not sure what the new twinflex pro should show on zone earth fault.

im going to take lenth of cable tomorrow and hook it up , and if it sorts it il tell builder cable needs replaced and ceiling needs smashed , he not be happy

Remove all devices on the zone and check the cable first.....you don`t wont to smash the ceiling only to find a simple detector fault...as he really will be be happy then

il check cable tomorrow with proper Ir tester ,can you bypass earth monitoring?

Not sure if you can bypass earth fault monitoring on these but you shouldn't be doing that anyway. Defeats the object of it then.
If you are on site today and stuck, you could try giving Fike tech support a ring. They are extremely helpful and patient but I think Tazz may have nailed it to be honest with the cable fault.

all sorted , earth fault was on zone 2 but panel shows zone00 NA = twisted cable in the slack in ceiling.

s/c was twisted cable, had to cut holes and lucky it pulled between rooms . short distance = no faults
