I was going to take a new leg out from the board because the end of line is miles away an then come back to board after looping all the smokes and pick up and join the old leg
Im doing a similar thing, sorry to hijack your post, adding 1 detector to an existing zone which is wired in grey twin(not fp200)its a domestic property(private house),im not sure that if your adding new cable that it should be fp200 or not.
i cant see the logic in not spending £150 to make the job quicker,it will be cheaper than the rate to install a cable hours wise the customer gets a new panel for free so they think saves you money on the install...20 devices per zoneI cant AM, im on a budget an the companys quite tight on money at the mo & watching what their spending out on. Anything else i should no when i reinstall the supply? Also what is the maximum number of points you can have to one zone, say on a 100m of cable?
