hi guys

im working on a three floor retail unit.the ground floor and first floor are being refitted out.the top floor is not going to be used and will have no electrics on the floor.will there still have to be void detection on this second floor thats not being used???

thanks

I've been in this situation before. First time it was required the second time it was'nt. I think only the building owners fire insurers can answer your question.

Or a Fire Risk Assessment carried out by a competent person which will need to be done anyway, Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, the responsible person must carry out a fire safety risk assessment and implement and maintain a fire management plan.

Thanks Bennie. Yeah I have Oslo microwave sensor 2D type fittings which I was hoping to use. So permanent supply to all this would suffice? Thanks
