Haven't got much experience of Fire Alarm panels, but refurbing a HMO (3 storeys).

Fire Alarm panel and sensors etc already installed. Sensors are looking grubby and plan to replace.

Want to confirm types of heads used. Some have a red sticker (I assume heat detector - kitchen), some have a green sticker with '80' on it (bedsit room - Optical? Not sure what is the '80' means) and the ones in the hallway/landing don't have any markings (multi-sensor?)

Would the bases be able to take different manufacturer heads? No sure of the existing make used.

generally, you will need to use the same d model and make sensor heads or swap the bases as well.

The detection with the red and green stickers, are heat detectors If I remember rightly red is 55 deg and green is 80 deg. Unmarked are smoke detectors......You will need to change both base and detector when replacing, Apollo S65 will be your best bet, as being compatible with most panels on the market.
