Snowhead....do the show a reason in that reg, for not using fireman switch......this is out of interest

No but I'll guess.

1000 galllons of water from a fire hose on a 230v supply will surely kill it dead.

1000 gallons of water on a neon sign, which have voltages up to 15kv could be interesting.

I've replaced transformers, cables and tubes in neon signs, it hurts when you're mate says it's dead when it isn't, even when you're standing on wooden planks on a tower scaffold.
