hi
Is there a requirement for First Aid safety signs | electric shock procedures to be positioned near a distribution board. I have been to a remote pumping station and there are no safety signs anywhere. Would you put this down as a C3?
thanks

There is NO requirement for this in BS7671:2008 Amt 1, so does not need a coding. You could argue that they should be displayed in an industrial workplace to meet HSWA:1974 and therefore include that as a comment in the appendix to your EICR.

I was looking at a Allianz Cornhill report at a site I went to last week and saw it was put down. I will leave it out and mention it to the H&S guy who works for them.

thanks

Have a chat with the H&S bloke before submitting your report. He may ask to get it put on there for justification to get the signs put up.
