first Domestic job advice

First domestic job requiring install of earth bonding to gas main and water mains.

Am I right in thinking that I can bring the earth outside of the house in conduit up and thru the wall where the CU is?

Also, any tips for lifting screwed floorboards? I've heard others imply that it's a pain but isn't it just a case of unscrewing them?

Sorry for all the questions, here's another one:

with 20mm conduit what's the best way to go around the corner of an external wall? I've seen the 2 way joint boxes with 90 degree outlets but they seem too chunky to go around a sharp brick corner?

Thanks..

take tubeinto a stop end box, and then bust the next bit oftube intothe back of this. Itdoesnt look pretty, but it will work.
Other option is to set your tube out from the wall, bend it round the corner, and then set back onto the saddles. Or, take the corner off the brick, but i wouldnt do this option myself.

Yes. Clipping direct looks rough so use conduit

Unscrew them, they should lift up then. Chances are if they're screwed down, then they've been up before.

Pull a bend in the conduit or use a preformed bend/inspection elebox. A stopend box might look a little big and ugly.

Thanks..

My replies in bloo

otherwise use a circular saw set to depth, cut accross each end where nailed and down both grooves, that will pop up, earthing is fine external but looks horrid, run in conduit or cover with external capping.
