Discuss First inspection tomorrow and found broken cpc - advice please! in the Periodic Inspection Reporting & Certification area at ElectriciansForums.net

Am I correct in thinking that it is always adviseable to do some tests before begining work such as this? As that way, the fault (or other faults) could have been corrected before work began on the CU change.
I realise that this is not a normal situation as Mike is his own customer in this instance, I'm just trying to find out what is considered 'best practice'
