Hi

As far as I know, the application has to be in, not processed so post them recorded delivery or email them. I did both and called them to get an email sent verifying that they had been received.

Cheers

Dave

I believe the FiT application has to be received AND date stamped by the deadline date of midnight 11 Dec.

I did mine through my supplier, EDF, and they stressed and underlined that the FiT application HAD to be filled out correctly for it to be date stamped.

I filled it out, then went through every detail with EDF on the phone and to be doubly sure, I took it there in person, someone checked through it, found one error (installer's error), said it was fine and that they would rectify the error themselves and gave me a date stamped receipt.

EDF have told me that it will take about six weeks to process, but my start date is the date stamped on my receipt: 7 Nov.

I have since found out that I could've in fact scanned and emailed said application, but there you go ... I still would've delivered it myself!

EDF customers should also be aware that they have changed everybodies account numbers so be sure to put your NEW account number on.

They also insisted on an invoice and not a receipt which all of the other suppliers are happy with.

This shows that they are being very picky so please make sure that everything is perfect.

EDF seems to be very 'problem-son' and awquard with the feed in tariff forms- On another thread a guy was saying that they wont email over feed in tariff forms over any more and are sending by post in 3 days!!

Close 2nd would be scottish power.

They all appear to be playing 'difficult'.

Seeing Greg Barker tomorrow so will let him know what is going on

I've been having terrible trouble with NPower.....they are all in the same boat.....finally got someone to say they had received mine (posted 20th October) 2 weeks ago and they said the acknowledgement that all was well had been posted to me. Still haven't received it...complained times....and latest is they are sending me ANOTHER letter confirming receipt and that all is well. That is scheduled to arrive today or tomorrow but I expect I'll be ringing them again next week to say it still hasn't arrived. The big 6 have probably issued instructions to their staff to delay at all costs and there will be massive sob stories following trails of deceipt post 12th Dec. Just hope I'm not one of them or I will be going to County Court in the first instance.

Note - for anyone not with EON (i.e. someone with a company other than the big 6 who chose EON to be their FiT provider) - we were informed by them last Friday that they will no longer accept any such applications - only those from existing customers from the 21st November onwards
