Hi guys just a quick question, is it ok to fit a photocell low to the ground? Ie 200-300mm from ground level, customer would prefer but never seen it as low before? Cheers

I work in street lighting and we sometimes fit photocells in our pillar boxes at low level and have no problems with it. as long as it gets enough daylight its ok. Consider fitting a 35 lux cell as opposed to a 70 lux if its in an area that is enclosed by buildings or trees otherwise your load (lights I presume) may kick in before necessary and stay on after necessary).
