Hello, I hope you are well, I need to add a light in a display fridge in a shop at the top, the are aluminium U Chanel’s at the top which are designed for attaching things similar to unistrut but much smaller but I’m unsure of the fixings I need, can’t use self tappers as is glass all on the other side ( please see picture not the best as it’s what they’ve sent me as I’ve not actually been out yet to see it.

Thanks

Is there a flat edge where good old double-sided sticky tape would work? In a Blue Peter style?

What’s the job? Replacing fluorescents with LED strip?

That clip there must be screwed to something

If the aluminium channel has a big enough groove (if you can determine both the inner width and the width of the slot?) you might be able to use this sort of thing. (Not suggesting this actual supplier - there are cheaper sources if only you can find the size!)
Or even make your own "hammerhead screws" by filing each side of the head off appropriate small bolts!

No lights currently so it's a easy job electrically just putting a under cabinet led light and they'll turn it off and on with the switch on the fitting, as the comment below says it's definitely made for those T nuts I reckon so I'll just get a selection from Amazon for like £5
