Anybody out there who can help? My supply is flickering, lights as well as sockets, have tried isolating each circuit breaker but still flickers. I'm a photographer and need to get it sorted, the computers definitely don't like it as well? Suggestions would be great, or hands on help if that doesn't work, I'm based in Old St area in London.

Cheers

Nick

IF you are confident enough you could try tightening all the connections inside your fuseboard, i would recommend and electrician though

PS if you do, make sure its a insulated screwdriver !

poor connection on tails, can be in CU, meter, service head. if fluorescent lighting, could be low voltage. with as much equipment turned on as you can, listen for any crackling at the CU area. if so, an electrician needs to visit.

Sounds like a slack connection Turn the mains OFF and IF noone replies you could phone someone out BUT Not till the morning unless its desperate due to cost of call out charges

If your in desparate need tonite id try to google an electrician by typing say electrician and your post code, this should bring up someone local, but at this time of night expect a call out charge,,sounds very much as though there are loose connections, but please do not attempt to do this to live equiptment,as you will be at risk of injury.
