Having some issues with my companys fluke 1662/1663 tester.
Zeroing 2 leads for continuity test we get the value 0.08 which is expected. The issue comes doing the Zi (loop impedance) the instructions say to zero 3 leads for this test ( if you try to zero two leads L and PE it reads >3.00ohm) you have to zero with all 3 leads connected, the value for 3 leads is 0.14.

We have tested a sub main and the fluke reading is coming in at 0.04. Where as the megger another tester is using comes in at 0.11. The DNO value provided was 0.10 so the meggers test result seems to be more accurate. I know the megger auto carries over 0.07 to the loop test so you dont have to re zero your leads. This is causing issues on site as the fluke reading are lower and this effects the PEFC and PSCC as well as readings downstream of the submain.
Does anyone have any ideas, or does anyone use the fluke 1662/1663 series.
Its like the fluke should be only zeroing 0.08 on 3 lead null, but the tester has just come back from calibration with a pass and we've used brand new fluke test leads.

This lesser known technique can be used for RCBO protected circuits, allowing a high current test to be used. It's a good one to have in the bag...

Well done. Leads sound a bit high btw mine are 0.07 when warmed up. Rcd uplift - I either calculate Zs, or use the kitcher trick. See
