Just wondering has any body used the fluke dc current clamps that plug into your standard DMM i would mainly be using them for fault finding, only need to measure mA (4 to 20), I like the idea of not have to disconnect cores to get a reading any feedback you might have would be great, thanks in advance

I use one at work like the standard clamp meter but its a process meter (fluke 773) which does 4 to 20mA i was hoping there might have a similar plug in version. the process meter costs about 800 pounds plus cal cert which i already spent on one without the clamp so i cant justify buying a new meter but if the plug in clamp was a reasonable cost i would go for it

I am in Nigeria, does any one know any of their products (fluke) that can help record the level of surge( surge duration, voltage, current, power/ energy and frequency) in electrical power supply? If you do, how does it cost and how can I purchase it? I need it urgently for surge analysis. it is a university project.
