Hi
Have to say Meterel not been very helpful here. Has anyone any experience of using the current clamps on domestics where you cannot get your current and voltage stakes in the ground near the property? I have a project where it is TNCS, in very rural area prone to loss of Neutral. I have put some stakes in so in the event they do loose neutral the metal work they have and the ground should be at the same potential if here are any high neutral currents flying about.
Would it be possible to test this electrode disconnected from the PME using the current clamp method? Otherwise i would have thought the reading will take into account the TNCS reading?
I should be in a position to test this soon with the clamps, but wanted to know if i am wasting my time and if anyone else had an experience of using this method, regardless of tester make, so that they could share their experience.
Thanks
JB
