James, I have never had one, but a mate of mine has his for sale too - I have wanted a bigger van for ages and it is immaculate - the down side to me is that i have the checked the fuel consumption thingy and it shows that their average is 26 mpg, which to me is too much! I'm too careful (tight) to be spending even more of my hard earned loot on the government!
Mind, they do look the dogs danglies!

I too am looking at van insurance, everything from a battered old non-turbo diesel Transit, Hiace, Caddy SDI, is about £800. :censored: My motorbike is £300 a year with a couple of grands worth of modifications and the 0-60 time of a Subaru Impreza WRX. (Very slow by bike standards though!)

Is it worth getting insurance if it's only worth 4 thousand pounds? (I don't mean that in a nasty way) I don't bother with insurance for any of our vehicles that are over 6 or 7 years old, you end up paying more on premiums than the value of the car or van.

Marvo - not sure if that one is a joke or just that things are different in SA - here you must have at least third party insurance to drive on a road, despite the value of the vehicle. Thats the law. Some poor kids are paying thousands every year for insurance on crap cars that are worth a few hundred pounds.
