I really don't get it.... I mean fair play to them if they can command those sums, but where do they find the constant stream of idiots willing to pay that sort of money ?

I remember these when they (he) set up as a one man band, got some lucrative contracts with some large employers and basically worked all the hours God sent doing what they wanted and when. As a result he got a reputation as a 'can do' guy and his business took off. Fair play to him. Companies would rather pay these prices knowing it will be done, it's chicken feed to them.

They have an army of their own mechanics who earn about £35k a year lol,i watched the program when it was on and fair play to him that all the wages were put in line.I think most of the work is quoted beforehand unless its an emergency.
