Free cctv installation courses ?

Yeah I've wired a CCTV before. But didn't use any conduit etc. Would be nice to see how to do it properly lol.

I've done a couple and they were fairly straightforward. Standalone are easy, but linking into a network is trickier.
If you use the same brand then the app sorts it out for you. I hate the idea of being dependent on an app for anything, but that's the way nowadays.
I bought the same make cameras for my home here and my Spanish place...the app just saw both and lets me switch between them as I want. Clearly this is not a commercial thing, just a domestic fun thing. The camera at home is mounted internally and on WiFi, the Spanish one is also on WiFi so all I needed was a power supply...I ran it in trunking which is big enough to take a CAT5 if needed, but luckily the WiFi is strong enough.

A lot of companies now make a nominal charge for the courses they run some are refundable once you attend others return the cost of the course on hitting an initial order spend level usually £500 - £1000.
Some of this came about because they had people booking courses and then not turning up and they were scheduling staff to run the course and ordering in lunch for the expected numbers that was not required prior to the day so incurring costs
As an example Paxton the access control people have been making a charge of £25 + VAT for their courses for a while now, I was a bit sceptical at first but they are that efficient that the money is returned to your account before you have completed the course
Videcon in Heckmondwike charge £500 - £100 + VAT depending on the course and credit the course cost to your account once you spend £1000
