Just a quick one - I phoned my mom's supplier (Scottish Power) last week about the cost of fitting a mains isolator. The really helpful woman at the other end of the phone first informed me it would cost nothing and then even asked when it would be convenient for them to come out!!
Anyway its all done now, so thought this might be useful for anyone: (a) registered with them and (b) planning a CU change for their assessment.
