we had a gent bring his laptop in the shop for repair and it looked like it had been in a fire
(it looked half melted)
i asked him what happened?
he was a garage mechanic and he said it was very dirty and greasy so he thought he'd clean it by dipping it in a vat of acetone:sad3:
i just shook my head and threw it in the bin, he left after i told him he just destroyed it beyond repair.
the other guys in my shop did a truly heroic job of not laughing

ive said before to the guys in my shop that some people should not have access to computers:smilielol5:

Doing a job in a paint factory once in the depths of a tyneside winter. The guys making the paint had a novel way of warming their feet up, they'd go outside and take their boots and socks off then pour paint thinners over their feet and set it alight.
Oh how I laughed when one of the dolts set his clothes on fire.

Picked up a brand spanking new Astra van from our yard and drove straight to a site. Parked round the back, did what I had to do and left. Rather than trying to turn in the dark I decided to go out via the other side of the building. All was good until the van dropped into the ground about 250mm and stopped very quickly. Opened the door to find I had just driven into a load of freshly poured concrete.

The daughter is about 6 months old and I've got her on a trip into town to give Mrs Trev a break, I park up in a pretty big car park and off we go to do what has to be done. So once we're all done we're back at the car and I'm fumbling in my pockets for my key and this bloke shouts "Oi! Get the F away from my car". Obviously it got my attention so I looked round to see this monster coming towards me at a rate of knots and he's clearly not happy.
I'm thinking flippin great someone wants to kick off with me when I've got little un. By this time he's alongside me demanding to know what I'm doing, "calm down mate" says me You can tell it's my car because of all the baby stuff on the back seat" I pointed to an empty back seat.....Oh dear.
Turns out that his car was identical to mine which was parked about 10 bays down from his

I did something similar, a large shopping centre had unknown to me 2 car parks one on each end,so I drive up the ramp and onto level 2 park up and go shopping. I come back to the exact spot where I parked up only to find another car in my space, run back downstairs and ask the security guard to phone police, am I sure I left it there he asks by now I'm going mental of course level 2, red or yellow? he asks what red or yellow? he then walks upstairs with me and I show him the spot where my car was, we go back downstairs walk through the shopping centre and up an identical staircase coming out at level 2 indicated by the big red sign with a 2 on it and lo and behold there's my car right where I left it.Apparently these 2 car parks were identical the only difference being the signs, red car park and yellow car park."dont worry mate it happens all the time" he said, well not to me it didn't that was the one and only time I went there.

I filled my car up with petrol, went and paid, then walked over and got into a total stranger's car. Was identical model and colour. Lady driver came over screaming that someone was trying to steal her car. I was feverishly trying to get it to start with my key....then noticed the crap on the passenger seat wasn't mine. Got out.....tried to explain. What a plonker.

Ok then,

I was in Blackpool on the beer, desperately needing a gypsies kiss, asked for directions to bog, through that door end of corridor its on the right. So off i went, i was bursting, so when i went through the door at end of corridor i had matey boy in hand, i arrived with piece in hand ready to pee, unfortunately i didnt hear the "on your left" and burst straight into hotel dining room that was packed with about 200 pensioners all having tea!
