Sorry, but what would be the point of that?I would use 80 amp
no upstairs might be next door tho and so he won’t need to disconnect the neutral it’s safe him just pulling the live fuseI assume the job is to replace that consumer unit, because as it stands, it’s rough.
If you’re upgrading the tails, then the neutral will have to be disconnected. Otherwise, no... pulling the fuse will sufficiently isolate.
Just pull the fuse that’s going through the meter.
The other fuse does appear to supply a cable that goes straight up- possibly to an upstairs flat (?).

yeah but he’s going to supervise me just little bit knowledge before i do is great he can see i do things at home a iam keen to learn unlike some apprentices this site is great for stuff like that and i do appreciate all the support thanks mateYou are worrying too much. He is the guy who is on site and can see everything. Watch what he does, and ask questions. If he doesn't want to reply then go elsewhere for your training.
Just one other question - is it actually you doing the job? No offence intended, but your questions come across a bit odd in their manner.
dno put an isolator on for us in the end mate thank you thoIf your boss is advising you on how to pull the correct fuse then I suggest you take a very long step backwards.
