i love spending my hard earnt on tools, just wanting to know what you have bought recently
tools you cant do without, mabe give me some ideas on what to buy next as im stuck with a few pennies
burning a hole in my pocket. whats the best bit of kit you bought this year etc...

bosch 10.8 gear, all of it apart from the Inspection camera, never lets me down, and finding new uses for the multicutter all the time. got the recip saw last week too!
 
i bought cable rods thinking happydays and realised what i needed was a bit of angle bead bent slightly with large cable tie on end... too loop the spots as was two joists too get over and couldnt get above... so get urself a 15mm thick cable tie

i seem to only be buying bosch gear now as most of it is in L-boxes even upgradeing drills ive got to bosch's l-boxx ones.
 
wouldnt say they do, but ive dreamed of these one time, but when you actually do them , you have to ship and shape anyway... i mark centre of room the work out the lengths between them then throw up laser level and measure along . its easier if you work yourself..

as to your original post.. one of them multi cutting tools could come in handy..boosch or others thats what i want next
 
If you go for the Bosch multicutter ( and as a Bosch fan it seems you would) go for the GOP-250 rather than the 10.8 version as I've heard that the batt life can be limited.

As for lasers believe that Leica did do one that did some form of markings called the Disto-2 if I recall, but pricey.
