Agree with that Lofty, but its dead handy.
Ill order the powered one one night when I come home drunk. Like I did once, ordered bosch keks, coat, the big belt thing that Ill never wear cos i look ridiculous, the vest, which is dead handy, and sds 230v, which i ace. forgot all about it till 12 ish the next day, spent over 300ÂŁ....
Bosch have some new workwear coming out soon, I cnat find any info on it, Have to say, the bosch work keks are tremendous.

My Brother PT-7600 Label Printer would probably be my favourite addition of 2011. Great machine, and finishes jobs off well.

I have not bought much recently or even in the last twelve months. some of the best bits are the decent set of cable rods, the multi tool is great, only a cheapy one but its brill got me out of some tight scrapes that would have been almost impossible to get into. also my long lasting piece of trunking lid :) can`t beat it for pushing cables through.
oh one thing thats in the tool box that money can`t buy is a bit of passed on knowledge :) I have worked with some great people in the past who have given me some great tips

oh forgot one. just remembered as I have just had to get a splinter out from under my finger nail, green slime ozzing out :)

so don`t forget a good needle or tweezers for such occasions :)

tell you what comes in handy, karcher drill dust catcher, good when putting up wall lights, impresses the customers, sounds like a high powered marital aid.

PMSL: love the description for electricians use:

Electricians: aligning lighting systems, installing power outlets etc. at the same
level, aligning sanitary and heating systems

Not a gadget as such but a length (about 1 metre) of 12mm wide flat steel bar with a slight chisel edge is useful for 'cutting' through plaster behind skirting boards as you can get it quite flat to the wall.

Lofty.

im looking for a lazer to be honest im sure ive seen one, that you can put a grid on celing for downlights etc
would be intrested to hear if anyone own or seen one of these?

makita do one like that as far as I remember, works on the floor as well for doing straight lines on floor and ceiling....

That is very cool. It would be the end user software that would make that the absolute king.
