I did my level two and three 2330 electrical installation in the u.k but have recently returned to oz to work. I need to get 'proof of an apprenticeship' in order to gain my australian license but am wondering if i am still able to get this proof of an apprenticeship in the u.k even tho i didnt do my level two and three as part of an apprenticeship. i am aware i have to do my nvq but was just wondering can i still get this' proof of apprenticeship'. any info would be greatly appreciative.

Sorry just to clarify you did serve an apprenticeship?

If you did then get in contact with the company you served it with and im sure somebody could knock up a certifcate or deeds

Good luck

no thats the thing i didnt do an apprenticeship. i just did the level two and three as evening courses while i did agency work as an electricians mate. so even tho i have passed the same courses as an apprentice i wasnt technically an apprenticeship, but i need proof of an apprenticeship in order to gain my australian recognised trade certficate. its complicated i know.

Doing the courses is in no way the same as completing an apprenticeship, the courses are merely a small part of it and although I admire the fact you completed it all on evening courses you wont be able to prove you are time served

It’s sad that you had to say no more money to them for them to pull their fingers out.
