Hi there. I have a honewell galaxy alarm. I am in engineer mode but when I enter the engineer code and press esc, it says checking for tampers. It then says Tamper Keypad 0 and I cannot get rid of this. It then returns to engineer mode again. It’s so frustrating!!! please, can anyone help?!

I think you need to get one of the regular users of the system to input their code, set the system, then get them to unset the system.
It should then be out of engineer mode.

The keypad tampers can be troublesome, especially on an uneven wall. Make sure the keypad is correctly clipped on to the wall mounting plate, and sometimes a few layers of insulating tape on the tamper peg helps.

Try to exit engineering while physically holding the tamper switch closed on the keypad, if it still doesn't do it then dodgy keypad.
