Metal garage door an extaneous conductive part? Any answers would be appreciated

my garage door is no longer extaneous conductive part ....!! :( it fell off hinges last night!! good luck house is within the bloody warranty!! had to shore it up with lumps of timber and wedges to stop little gypsies and kids nicking my gear!



on other hand!!!! what about aluminium Windows!! do i need to go and earth grannys windows!! never know that hidden current that lurks in the bricks might jump out and kill her!!

Oooohhhh not the old bonded windows chestnut!!!! (Thought Microsoft had sorted that)

Should we kill the window cleaner?............. Might help with your first problem Durham!!

Have you never seen one of those earthing flappy things that were popular for cars in the 90s, I had one on my ford escort, it was properly earthed. I can only think that your garage door has earthed itself due to your neglect, lets hope Grannies windows dont do the same.

Foe goodness sake get that 10mm out of the van you stingy bugger!

And yes I have been at the cider
 
nah my window cleaner is mint, one of the few people i trust around my castle..!!

bonded windows what a scam! who ever thought of that was quality!!

yeah i remember them little thigs that dragged along the car behind you!! just to stop static!! :)

my door fell off as its cheap and nasty much like most of the stuff in new houses!! condidering getting a nice auto one so i look like a posh T**t

p.s i dont have a van just yet!! still plodding around in my focus till it dies or burns, or probablys crashes!!

no seriously dont ask them!! i sent a friend in to B&Q to get a "round" drylining box!! he came out empty handed to the tune of "THEY DONT EXIST"

sheds!!! :(
