Good morning, first time here. Woke up this morning to find the Washing Machine in the garage has no power, one of the two overhead lights won't come on in the garage either. GFCI the washing machine connects to won't reset, no power to the other outlet on that wall either.

The two overhead lights are controlled by different switches, as I said one works and the other doesn't. The clothes dryer which is on a different wall works fine. Nothing appears tripped on the breaker board. Wondering what the fix may be.

Thanks

If sounds to me like you have a loose connection somewhere between your panel and the lights and receptacles which are not working. The GFCI will not reset until you get your power restored. My advice is to start opening up the receptacles and boxes and you will find your problem.

How about opening your GFCI receptacle that operates the washing machine and you will probably find your problem in that receptacle. Please cut off all power first and good luck

Ended up not doing anything, and it's working again. (?)
Somewhere on that circuit something is loose. Cut the breaker off while you have power again and see exactly what all loads are on that particular circuit that keeps giving problems. Every time your power goes off it probably arch’s and every time it comes back on it arch’s again. Loose connection and from my own experience it will probably be in a receptacle.
