Garage wiring

Hey guys, I've got a few different ideas buzzing round inside my head for ways to install cable for some lighting and power in my garage and one I have been thinking about is using 4 core SWA. Two cores for the lighting, two cores for the power and the sheath used as an earth for both circuits. Is this permissable? If not, could anyone point me in the direction of the appropriate reg/regs? I can't seem to find anything but I'm worried I may be missing something.

cheers

Nice one, so essentially, as long as the csa of the earth (metal sheath in this case) is large enough then it is fine. Thanks IQ
