ok, here goes, asked to quote for a job installing garden feature.

Existing 6mm cable in place, run through a 32A rotary isolator into rcbo 32A type breaker.......................Ze good, all bonding in place, ZS is good too................this apparently supplied an old hot tub which has now gone.

So, they want a new water feature, small water pump and four little spots to light up feature.
Any ideas on how to control both independantly, ie lights on a timer, or on LED switch or do i run another armoured into independant switch for lights?
also any ideas how to switch water feature etc?
its approx 25metres from house in garden amongst decking.

I have not seen owner yet and would like to offer my best advice, so if anybody has done anything like this and has any ideas im all ears??

Cheers

would it be possible to fit remote control sockets (ip rated) for each feature?

i use byron external R/C sockets. 3 sockets on 1 remote, 3kW each. switched independently from 1 remote. or non IP rated plug-ins in a IP box
