Saw this D.S video on him trying to rectify a fault on a hot tub supply..

Personally I don't think I would have bothered doing all that digging and jointing to try and get the hot tub temporarily back on as
I personally dislike buried joints unless unavoidable.

I would have insisted I run a new feed to the tub

I hate external landscape electrical jobs, they are never done correctly, works until the first winter then everything leaks, rcd trips out, we get the call to sort it all out

Connectors wrapped in tape and plastic bags ive seen alot lately

I to have found extension leads wrapped in plastic bags , buried taped joints in flower beds etc.
I recently had a job where a customer had spend ÂŁ1000s on having around 30 stainless steel bollards dotted around the garden.
All wired in 2c 1.5 swa , no earth at any of the lights.
Swa just cut off and all terminated using plastic wiska boxes and a bit of 2c flex.
And this is on million pound houses which have spend ÂŁÂŁÂŁÂŁs on having their gardens re-done and spend a lot of fancy garden lights etc
Landscapers trying to cut corners and avoid getting an electrician in.
what can you do
