Just double checking...
Friend wants power and lights in garden. Decking lights & flood light and maybe 4 max double sockets. All mounted on side of house in conduit with IP66 housings.
Blank 32mcb (non RCD protected) in CU used to feed a new 'garden CU' inside house with 20mcb for socket radial & 6mcb for lighting both RCD protected).
Will 2.5 T&E be ok for cu to cu or should I up to 4. Also should it be separately earthed (6mm or 10mm) to the main earthing terminal or use earth rod (or is that just for external buildings).
Thanks in advance for advice.

Er no...

32A MCB front end. what do you think? 4mm or 6mm for me. 6mm gives you the option of increasing the capability in the future.

Could have swore I read 2.5 T&E to new CU on here

my bad.
Ok so 4 but is the rest ok?

On the other hand hang about, someone will want let you know how clever they are and tell you how to do it.

if you are a practising spark you should know this.

I love how the opening post starts 'just double checking'
no you weren't. you are looking for someone here to tell you how to do the job!
and if you were double checking, it's a damn good job you are because your idea sucks!
