The following set-up is making my brain hurt.
Working in a TNCS supplied house with new 8-way CCU where main switch is also a 30mA 80A RCD. Power required to garage 23m away from CCU. I can run 6mm T&E all the way, the short distance between house and garage can be run through conduit and concreted over, and the cable can end in a 40A garage CU to supply 2 lights & 3 sockets. This bit is OK I think.
However, the customer is building a summer house a further 17m down the garden and wants to use it as an office (2x double sockets & lights). The only place cable can be routed from garage to summer house is along fence so must be swa clipped direct. Can't find information about 2nd installation anywhere and am concerned about discrimination, voltage drop & nuisance tripping at CCU. Any ideas please?
