Any 1 come across voltage on main bonding conductors before

Just to add yet again it appears that someone wants an answer before they visit site it would have been better if the EDF stick came along with a and I did a Ze test and found.........

Well no doubt you are right because if you did do a Ze and checked the gas earthing for continuity you would not be on here asking the question time to unsubscribe from this tosh

So hypothetically a problem arises at that house and someone is injured (I hope not) & it is discovered that the premises has no earth ! I wonder who the finger is pointed at !

Could be induced voltage doesn't mean there's no earth

because earth has 0v, and anything connected to it would also be a 0v. Therefore to answer your other later point, even an induced voltage, once connected to earth would be 0v! if you disconnected it and tested to a known earth you would then see a potential difference. if you connect it back up again it would be 0v.

I tested between gas bond and an exposed conductive part and it was 0v

That's probably because the exposed conductive part isn't connected to earth either. Therefore neither are at 0v

Edf came out and used a voltage pen on earth connection and said there was voltage, I've come and tested across gas bond and exposed conductive part no voltage

what a cowboy. these guys are meant to know what they are doing!!!

Ok but why would there be voltage down the main earth bond if There's no earth, don't forget u can get earth leakage aswell
