Is it me or is our trade a complete shambles when it comes to regulation compared to plumbers. They are either gas safe (or the old corgi) or they arent. This is a nationwide recognised body, their symbol is recognisable and as a member of joe public I would always hire a gas safe plumber.

Right on to electrics, NIC, Elecsa, Napit etc etc, domestic installer, approved contractor, eca, jib card, 17th edition, part p, bs7671, numerous logo's, none recognisable to joe public.

We are on a hiding to nothing!
