The gas certificate for my flat arrived by post this morning, just 5 minutes before the guy arrived to repair the boiler.
Serviced Tuesday
Repaired Thursday, all the burner assembly found to be loose.

Really inspires confidence, NOT ! ! !

It appears that drive by inspections are all over the place, my brother is renting his flat out and the agents needed an EPC. He rang a guy who had done one in the same block, discussed a price but when he asked when the guy would need access he was told "No problem, I'll just do it from my office"
My question is, do I grass on the guy?

That’s right a different guy on second visit. He was on the phone to head office pretty quick. Wonder if I’ll hear anything, I’ll not hold my breath!
