Afternoon boys n girls...
Just paid em (elecsa) the cash earlier today and have got the date for the assessment...Feb 6.....so plenty of time to change the board over and sort out some 2s that are there n all....maybe a borrowed neutral here n all but will PIR it first so will find it if its there......its Mr Gary Stephens who will be assessing my work/knowledge etc so between now and then (and the minced pies and all that lot) will have the time to sort it out and cert....:26::54::sifone::carolers:

Good luck with it. I can say though, after my visit today I found him/them to be very helpful. They're not trying to catch you out, or be awkward. Dot the I's and cross the T's, make sure all is as it should be and that you can answer questions on the 17th either from memory or with reference to the OSG or BGB. You will laso be asked some questions on other building regs, but nothing to worry about.

That's the stuff, plus some bits like extraction for bathrooms and kitchens. An important one to cover will be Part B Fire Safety for break throughs etc. Nothing too complicated, just how does it affect the work you do, and what you do to account for it.

As said above, from your posts you know your stuff so it won't be a problem.

Well i will need the public liability and indemnity...will get that in early january....just waiting for em to sent that "welcome pack" or whatever it is that they send you.....and i`l have a look at it and see whats what.....

glad you chose elecsa, i've been with them a few years now since leaving the well known one,all i can say is what a different attitude they have.personnally i get the feeling your not just a number,but thats just me.
