Afternoon boys n girls...
Just paid em (elecsa) the cash earlier today and have got the date for the assessment...Feb 6.....so plenty of time to change the board over and sort out some 2s that are there n all....maybe a borrowed neutral here n all but will PIR it first so will find it if its there......its Mr Gary Stephens who will be assessing my work/knowledge etc so between now and then (and the minced pies and all that lot) will have the time to sort it out and cert....:26::54::sifone::carolers:

The more cynical of us would say that this is also a cunning scheme to gain access to the mythical electricians arms

thats an interesting hypothesis fuzzy....to be fair it had crossed my mind as to apply for a "golden ticket" but i am quite happy where i am just now......when i have finished at college (end of june next year) then we will see....and it is after all only at the moderators blessing.....anyway, as far as college is concerned...i thought you were "in front" of me.... being on the 3rd year n all that.....so you might get to the "promised land" before me..lol......:dita:

Finished my 2330 lvl3 at the beginning of December, I was going do a big thread on it but don't really like the limelight tbh. So yes I am way in front of you ;o)

As for the promised land, my plans are finish my NVQ3, get the gold card, work on site for a couple of years, then think about joining a scheme so I can join the Electricians Arms (which bizarrely is the only way you can do it)

Finished my 2330 lvl3 at the beginning of December, I was going do a big thread on it but don't really like the limelight tbh. So yes I am way in front of you ;o)

On a serious note we were told that the 2330 lvl 3 practicals are harder (and more toughly marked) than 2392 (not saying you can't do it as you've done you're 2391, just an idea of the level), if you want any papers for the exams pm me your address and i'll send you a load

you will be fine they are good at putting you at ease as long as all paperwork in order ,PLI answer questions about the regs and building regs its more like a informal discussion to test your knowledge whilst he is checking the paperwork and drinking his tea/coffee then its off to the job to give it a quick once over and ask you to perform safe iso and a few simple tests it wasnt as hard as i thought it would be

I am to doing Lv3 2330 now after i done the 2391 and as you can see i am in the arms so didnt have the golden ticket as WONKAS was shut wont be long before your there to with all your helpful and useful posts

Chears Bruce mate.....as far as the electricians arms is concerned....i will stand by what i posted earlier so will finish college studies before considering it any more....
