Feb or March? Dont know,,,, have not planned it yet lol. Going back but we need to speak to the organised charities regarding what needs building (school/hospital/shelter for children). No point in taking skilled workers there to volunteer in the warehouse sorting out donations.

The world can be better (yuk, cant believe I just said that lol).

At the end of the day it is just helping out some of the most deprived kids in Europe with the skills that we all have. Yes rewarding, yes hard work, yes I almost cried when I saw the fingers paintings up on a wall that we all built. Now that is a result and a happy customer.

You guys have always been great to me and all of the forum members that have used your companies services.

Thank you for the offer which I will take up after just spending £400+ on keeping my van on the road and hiring another for a couple of days. Free calibration (for the MTF I bought from you and had calibration since) means another Xmas present for a loved one

PS,,, pushing my luck but,,,, I have a Chauvin Arnoux 1000V DC tester that may need looking at? (Fault code has popped up). I'll pop round on Monday and will bring treats for you all

No mate, they are knocking down all the accommodation tents/shacks around that area of the camp. The school and the near by church has been given a French High Court judgement not to be destroyed and they are now classed as "Social Structures". It was on the BBC morning news on Friday.

It was always under threat of being knocked down from day one! Hope it lasted 6 months which it has so we are happy at that. Both the church and school will be knocked down sooner or later, once they have moved everyone out of this camp onto another one, but that as always been the case. Oh well, nothing last forever.

Taken from the BBC's web site this morning:- "French officials say public areas such as places of worship or schools will not be affected. They describe the clearance as a "humanitarian operation".
