Hi all

board is 7 years old with no rcd it has Ge breakers in and one breaker has been replaced with a volex mcb.

Question is

i have been told by my local wholesaler that a wylex rcbo will fit in in this board are they corect as i am doing aditions on the bathroom lighting and require rcd protection

What I have done in the past is to take a spare MCB, say double up the lighting for a couple of hours and blank the spare way and take the MCB into the wholesalers and ask them if they've got any of the same pattern. There are usually only a few different generic device patterns available, they're just branded differently. Then you don't have to rely on your wholesaler for his knowledge!
