Glowworm Hide away problem

Hi,
Just had a phone call from daughter saying her boiler is not firing up.
It's a Glowworm Hide away
Pilot light on...all I know at the minute.
Told her to check exp tank for water level.
Is there anything obvious that I can check for her over the W/E

Don't call British Gas, you might end up paying for a new boiler, CH system and a full rewire.

very hard as it could be numerous things, my boiler recently failed on the ignition pcb. But if you do find it out to be the pcb it can be pricey. I sent mine away to ignite boilers who were recommended to me and they repaired it for a fraction of the price. Very good service

Is the gas valve in the pilot setting or the flame setting?

The reason why the boiler isn't working is simply because it's now winter and freezing cold. Sod's Law dictates that in these conditions a boiler will not work !!!

Boiler problem sorted. It was a worn out pump.
Replaced and booked a boiler service with a local plumber.
