Going senile

I have a bad memory, I spend half of my day looking for tools Ive put down. Ive even thought about tieing string round each tool and then round my belt it annoys me that much. Im always loosing them...and not just mine either!!.


What about selective memory. Does no one suffer with that?. Im always getting it with the misses!!...

Stress does that to you, you have to make a point of remembering what you do or you are just on auto pilot. The greater the stress the more I forget.

I used to do that to make it easier to answer the calls of nature when I was working outside in extremely cold weather ......

It's kinda comforting to see I'm not alone. Thankfully it's not a regular problem but even when it happens occasionally it's absolutely infuriating. It's always short term memory that's the problem, usually around the two or three day ago mark.

I think I'm losing my short term memory. It doesn't happen very often but I was given a very large amount of cash the other day as a job deposit. I didn't want to carry that amount of cash money around so I took a detour past my house and stashed it in my home office. This evening I finally have time to count it with a view to banking it tomorrow but I could hell remember where I'd put it. It's not like my office is a big place but it is pretty messy, it's just took me over an hour to find it Is it possible to go senile in your mid-forties?

I was going to suggest you buy a safe to store all your valuables, but you may not remember the code.

Hope you don't partake in the inhaling of the wacky backy as this is the best way to slowly destroy you memory and mental abilities sadly seen it happen to all the heavy smokers of it i know ...... dont get me wrong Marvo im not making an accusation just food for thought if you or you know someone who has. :sifone:

Lol, I haven't smoked the weed of wisdom since I was a student which was a good while back. Even then I never got the hang of it, I just used to get hungry, eat the majority of whatever was in the fridge and promptly fall asleep.

Well if he was a lightweight I was feather, never got it either, used to pass out then wake up leg it to the bog and look for the one with a sink next to it. Henceforth stuck with beer and never looked back

Marvo having the same problem am 44 and convince myself daily Im loosing it.
