Good cheap used van.

I am planning on buying a used van for about 700 pounds.The main choice looks to be Ford Escort,VW Caddy,Citroen Berlingo or Renault Kangoo.I think maybe the VW would be best but would like any other ideas on the subject,Thanks.

Well,I think I might just go for an escort with a years MOT and some tax,lots of them for sale.Cheap spares,easy to fix and if it only does a year its no problem.Any thoughts?

well, tell the garage if they keep bodging up your old van and won't get you a new one, tell 'em you'll keep bodging their old electrics

You could always try IR testing your van electrics

You could try and introduce it to a tree, that might get you a new van, but it might be another Escort
