Good Morning Thread - Come say good morning, tell us what you've got on today. :)

We have this thread on TilersForums.com and it's just been restarted because the old thread had 20,000 replies and 500,000 views. And there were 700 pages. Started to lag a bit on slow connections.

I think we had a bash of this before, but I can't find the thread, so thought I'd start another one off.

If you have time in the mornings, come post in the thread before you head off to work, let us know what you've got on and what the weather is like in your area etc. Anything at all is fine. :)

Posts and likes get counted towards your total stats in this thread.

So GOOOD MORNING PEOPLE - WEATHER IS NICE TODAY IN STOKE. I'M THANKFUL IT'S FRIDAY, HAD A RUBBISH WEEK. THANK GOD IT'S OVER.

Spent the morning terminating a few data cables, then out for a long pub lunch 'cause its the missus's birthday. Just got in and too stuffed to do much more today.

Mmmmmm Pub lunch! What did you have?

Why do all my posts seem to revolve around food?

Had a bit of a break and went swimming yay!

Started with something that was essentially a prawn cocktail, but laid out differently and called something else, followed by their 8oz burger. Normally go for something a bit more exotic, but it had been recommended by the restaurant manager of a rival pub. Wasn't wrong either - not just the burger, but it was served with all the right bits accompanying it.
All I could manage for the third course was chocolate ice cream.

Morning Everyone!

I am on a field trip for breakfast this morning! I am coming to you from a table in an establishment next to some award winning gardens in town!

Unfortunately because it is winter there are no flowers though!

Well, yesterday was replacing a Calisto C2 online gas analyser with an all singing, all dancing Calisto C9 analyser. Today was finishing commissioning the C9 and comparing the readings to a recent DGA analysis. That was followed by putting the C2 I took off yesterday onto another transformer to replace a C2 which had been showing flat lined readings for a few months. It had already had a new sensor cell and that didn't bring it back to life. I suspect a faulty I/O card.

Today is a pain. Drive from S.Wales to Romford. Do a harness course (yes, been using then for over 20 years, already qualified to inspect them) and then drive back to Wales. Another box ticking excercise for this bloody useless company that I work for. Currently stopped in the services for a pee.

We are at a tile painting night.. here's my first one primed and done..

They were slushy mocktails, the pink ones were not ours! Delicious though!

Had a fun time, now up early to catch up on emails and forum posts since an email went out over the weekend!

Seems loads lighter this morning!! YAAAAAYYYYY

Morning everyone, Happy Hump Day!

I posted a thread about this on TF but I wondered if any of you could shed some light on this (what I think is from the 50s) decorative wall ceramic cat. It was in my Grandma's kitchen forever and ever since she died about 10 years ago I have had it but sadly the tail broke so it has been in a drawer.

Just interested to see if anyone knows any thing about it.

Here is the thread on TF for ref

I did a google image search, and it crops up on this page….
Don’t know if it’s from the same designer - James Matthew’s- or just in similar style.

Oh my gosh @littlespark theres one on the page exactly the same!!! The posts are a bit confusing though so I'm not much wiser, I'll have to see if anyone replied on tf. Bloody forums are amazing!!!
