You will be responsible for the maintenance & repair of the general electrical installations in stores, ensuring that work is carried out in an efficient & cost-effective manner, whilst complying with laid-down H&S policy.
As well as responding to service calls from the Helpdesk to carry out reported repairs you will have weekly/monthly Pre-Planned Maintenance checks, both legal and statutory to complete to the required deadline.
Prioritising maintenance & repair work to achieve agreed timescales is a key part of the role.
You will report to the Supermarket Facilities Manager and work very closely with the Regional Maintenance Technician within the area to ensure that all minor works are completed to the required standards.
I dont have CG2391 i do inspection and testing on my SJIB(although don't really know testing),I served 1/2 my apprenticeship working maintenance contracts would not call myself an engineer only served my apprenticeship(3years ago)
This is for ASDA City Facilities if anyone works for them some feedback could be good, will the three phase just about ballanceing the loads or you think I will arse about with bakery/butcher equipment or will this be some other trade( ps i think i may last confidence)
