Hi All,
I have got a Grant oil boiler to install with an external timer unit.
The terminal block on the boiler has a "timer Live" and "timer neutral" connection.
Is it just a case of connecting the output from the timer to these and what size cable should i use eg 2 core flex?
Also , should i bond the copper oil inlet pipe or is this included in the boiler CPC and internal wiring ?

Thanks Rob

The oil line will need bonding at the point of entry to the building

What type of boiler is it??? combi, system etc....also I would imagine there would be a switched return from the timer to the boiler to control either heating or hot water.

Hi All again,
Think i have sussed out the wiring for the grant vortex 26e combi boiler!!!!
Neutral goes to timer unit and timer neutral in boiler and live from switched timer out to boiler with a
link from permenant live to timer switch input.
No thermostat being fitted due to customer requirement but not how i would have it.......ah well
Let me know if this makes sense others out thier.
Thanks Rob
