Hi, I have a Greenwood Airvac rectangular fan in my bathroom and need a replacement because this is no longer manufactured. The only replacement I can find is somewhat smaller and I don't want to retile the bathroom!

Does anyone have a replacement (320w, 125h, 170d approx)? Even if it's secondhand it would be better than nothing. I'd appreciate any help.

Many thanks, Tom, London.

my mistake. read the 170 d as diameter. give me a minute to convert 320 thingies into English.......

bloodyhell, that,s a whole foot.

Yes it's quite wide! And the jacket/container is buried into the wall with only the socket to receive the plug built-into the fan housing. The sleeve is 170mm approx deep into the wall.

Have you tried EBay? What is wrong with it? If all else fails you could have the motor re-wound but it would probably be an expensive solution

Both motors have worn ball races and they labour for about 10 minutes before finally starting. I can't split the fan open because it's sealed so replacing the fan ball races doesn't seem to be an option.
